1. Who we are

This platform ("Vidyasetu", "the platform") is operated by Prayogbharti Foundation ("we", "us", "the Foundation"), a non-profit organisation delivering skills training, scholarships, career development and placement support to students in need.

In these terms, "you" means any person who uses the platform — a student, a parent or guardian, a trainer, a member of Foundation staff, or a partner employer.

2. What the platform is for

Vidyasetu is the Foundation's administrative system. It is used to manage training centres, courses and batches, record attendance, set assignments and assessments, process scholarship applications, run job fairs, track placements, and issue certificates.

The platform is provided to support the Foundation's charitable activities. It is not a commercial service, and access is granted at the Foundation's discretion.

3. Eligibility and accounts

• Accounts are created by the Foundation. You may not register an account for yourself or create an account on behalf of another person.
• If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must consent to your enrolment and to the processing of your personal data. See our DPDP Act statement.
• You are responsible for keeping your password confidential. Do not share your account with anyone.
• Tell us immediately at info@prayogbharti.org if you believe your account has been accessed by someone else.
• Activity carried out through your account is treated as your activity. The platform keeps an audit record of every change.

4. Your responsibilities

When using the platform you agree that you will not:

• Provide false, misleading or forged information, including forged documents in support of a scholarship application;
• Mark attendance for another student, or ask another person to mark attendance for you;
• Submit work that is not your own as an assignment or assessment answer;
• Attempt to access records belonging to other students, staff or centres;
• Probe, scan or test the security of the platform, or attempt to bypass any access control;
• Upload anything unlawful, defamatory, or containing malicious code;
• Use the platform, or data obtained from it, for commercial solicitation.

Providing false information in a scholarship application may result in the application being rejected, an awarded scholarship being withdrawn and recovered, and the matter being reported to the relevant authority.

5. Enrolment, attendance and assessment

• Enrolment in a batch is subject to available seats. Where a batch is full you may be placed on a waiting list and offered a seat if one becomes free.
• Attendance is recorded by your trainer, by scanning a QR code displayed in class, or through an attendance device at the centre.
• A minimum attendance level is required to be eligible for a course completion certificate. The current requirement is published in the platform and may be varied by the Foundation.
• Assessment results are final once published. If you believe there is an error, raise it with your trainer or centre manager within 15 days.
• Persistent low attendance may result in your place being offered to another student.

6. Scholarships

• Scholarships are awarded at the sole discretion of the Foundation, subject to the published eligibility criteria and the funds available under each scheme.
• Meeting the eligibility criteria does not create any entitlement to an award.
• Applications are verified against the income and academic documents you provide. We may contact your school, college or employer to verify what you have told us.
• Awards are disbursed to the bank account you nominate. You are responsible for the accuracy of those details.
• The Foundation may withdraw or recover an award where the application was inaccurate, where attendance falls below the required level, or where a condition of the award is not met.

7. Placement support

The Foundation introduces students to partner employers and supports them through interviews. We do not guarantee employment. Hiring decisions, salary, terms of employment and continued employment are entirely matters for the employer.

The Foundation is not a party to any employment contract between you and an employer, and is not responsible for an employer's conduct. We do not charge students any fee for placement support. If anyone asks you to pay for a placement, report it to us.

8. Certificates

• Certificates are issued only where the programme has been completed and the attendance and assessment requirements met.
• Every certificate carries a unique number and a verification code, and can be checked by anyone at the verification page.
• The Foundation may revoke a certificate obtained through false information or impersonation. A revoked certificate shows as revoked on the verification page.
• Altering or forging a certificate is a serious matter and may be reported to the authorities.

9. Fees and payments

Many programmes are delivered free or are fully sponsored. Where a course fee applies it is shown against the course before you enrol. The Foundation does not collect payments through this platform. Any fee is collected at the training centre, and a receipt is issued.

10. Intellectual property

Course material, assessments, the platform's design and its software belong to the Foundation or its licensors. You may use them for your own learning. You may not reproduce, redistribute or sell them.

Work you submit remains yours. By submitting it you give the Foundation permission to store it, assess it, and use it in anonymised form for reporting on programme outcomes to funders and regulators.

11. Availability and changes

We aim to keep the platform available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may suspend access for maintenance, and we may add, change or withdraw features.

We may update these terms. Where a change is significant we will give notice within the platform. Continuing to use the platform after a change means you accept the updated terms. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised.

12. Limitation of liability

The platform is provided on an "as is" basis. To the extent permitted by law, the Foundation is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for loss of employment or earnings, or for loss arising from an employer's decisions.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

13. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or close an account where these terms are breached, where information provided is found to be false, or where required by law. Where an account is closed, records are retained for the period described in our Privacy Policy, because we must account to funders and regulators for the programmes we have delivered.

These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts having jurisdiction over the Foundation's registered office shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
